藏品？貨尾？展覽？夜冷？
藝術空間與社區，為未來懷舊？還是先為當下謀出路！
「活化廳」社區藝術空間一直辦來，收到不少街坊因著不同的原因送來的東西。這些物品，有些是人們眼中覺得合適活化廳展示的藝術作品，但也不乏甚無厘頭的。至於更大批來到活化廳的物品，除了是些這區家庭和店舖不再需要的舊東西，不忍棄置而捐出，望人能助保存的舊物，甚至關門結業店舖的貨尾想我們代為寄賣。
通過把街坊送俾活化廳的東西變成展覽的主角，導看上海街一帶舊區面對的臨界點，生活變局。也在社區消失當前，反思藝術隨之可能的消失，作為社區藝術的一種積極任務。
Becoming the immediate past, politics of disappearance
Since Wooferten opened its door in 2009, people brought in various kinds of things. Some people gave us artifacts that they think are artistic and worth exhibiting; some people just gave us things for different unknown reasons.
There is also a greater portion of objects, that originally belong to a number of families and local stores, which have moved or closed down recently and just do not want to dispose them to the dumpfill. No doubt these objects reflect (or actually formed) the ways of living and cultural histories of the community in Yau Ma Tei.
As a community art space, in just a short span of a year and a half, Wooferten witnesses the aging community being swiped by the frenzy property market, almost on the brink of a tipping point. By curating an exhibition out of all the items people brought to us, we tries to provide a intriguing show as well as continue to reflect further on the role of a community art space, that part one of our first Tiny West Kowloon Biennial has raised.

以是次展覽策展靈感的策展先鋒Harold Szeemann紀念其髮型師祖父的策展史經典展覽《祖父：像我們的先鋒》（Grossvater: Ein Pionier wie wir, １９７４）為主題的一次讀書討論會，由策展人劉建華主持。
